Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy

Redwood Global School has a clear and transparent refund and cancellation policy. This policy applies to all fee payments, admission fees, and other charges paid to the school.

3. Annual Fee Refund Policy

• If cancellation is requested before the academic session begins: 90% refund (10% processing charges)
• If cancellation is requested within 30 days of session start: 50% refund
• If cancellation is requested after 30 days of session start: No refund
• Pro-rata refund may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the management

4. Monthly Tuition Fee Refund

• Monthly fees are non-refundable once the month has commenced
• If a student withdraws mid-month, fees for the remaining days will not be refunded
• Advance payments for future months are fully refundable if cancellation is made before the month begins

5. Transportation Fee Refund

• Transportation fee is calculated on a monthly basis
• No refund for the current month if service is discontinued mid-month
• Advance payments for future months are refundable

6. Cancellation Process

To cancel admission or request a refund, parents/guardians must:

1. Submit a written cancellation request to the school office
2. Provide valid reason for cancellation
3. Submit all original receipts and documents
4. Complete the withdrawal form
5. Return all school property (books, uniforms, ID cards, etc.)

7. Refund Processing Time

• Refund requests will be processed within 15-30 working days from the date of approval
• Refunds will be processed through the same mode of payment used for the original transaction
• For cash payments, refunds will be made via cheque or bank transfer
• Processing time may vary for different payment methods

8. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are non-refundable under any circumstances:

• Processing fees and administrative charges
• Library fees (if books have been issued)
• Laboratory fees (if materials have been used)
• Examination fees (if student has appeared for exams)
• Uniform and book costs (if items have been issued)
• Any charges for services already rendered

9. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances such as:

• Medical emergencies
• Relocation due to job transfer
• Family emergencies
• Other genuine reasons

The school management may consider special refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Documentation supporting the exceptional circumstance must be provided.

10. Payment Gateway Refunds

For online payments made through payment gateways:

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
• Bank processing time may take 5-7 business days
• Any transaction fees charged by the payment gateway are non-refundable
• We are not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors

11. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute regarding refunds:

• Parents/guardians should first contact the school administration
• Disputes will be reviewed by the school management
• Final decisions will be communicated in writing
• All decisions will be made in accordance with school policies and applicable laws

12. Policy Updates

Redwood Global School reserves the right to modify this refund and cancellation policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
